This Cookies Policy explains how the MyRide901 website at www.myride901.com (the “Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies. The Site is operated by Professional Services Plus Inc. (“Professional Services Plus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which owns and operates MyRide901. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information in the MyRide901 app and related services.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and web beacons. Some are strictly necessary for a website to work or to stay secure; others are used for analytics, advertising or to track you across websites.

Cookies we use on the Site

The Site is a set of static pages: the MyRide901 overview, our blog, news, frequently asked questions and legal pages.

Strictly necessary security cookies

The Site is delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security provider that protects the Site against attacks and abusive traffic. When its security features are triggered, Cloudflare may place strictly necessary cookies on your device, such as __cf_bm (to distinguish people from automated bots) or cf_clearance (to remember that you passed a security check). The Site links to websites and services that we do not control, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, Facebook, Instagram and our ShopConnect service for vehicle repair shops. The MyRide901 app and shared timelines

This Cookies Policy covers the Site only. The MyRide901 mobile app, and the web pages used to view a vehicle timeline or service events that someone has shared with you, are described in our Privacy Policy, including the cookies used to recognize guests who open a shared timeline in a web browser.

Your choices

Because the Site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, there is nothing for you to opt out of, and no such technology is turned on by default. You can still block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you block Cloudflare’s security cookies, some pages may ask you to complete a security check before they load.

Your privacy rights in Canada

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. If we ever add cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this policy before doing so and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first and keep those technologies turned off until you give it.
