  1. MyRide901 Release - April, 2026

    May 8, 2026

    Today’s release includes refinements to our Build My Timeline feature that automatically adds service details to your MyRide901 timeline when participating shops email your invoice. We have also updated Reminders to make them more intuitive.

  2. MyRide901 Release - February, 2026

    March 16, 2026

    Today’s release includes a new feature that auto-adds service invoices and parts/labor/price details to your MyRide901 service timeline when the invoice is emailed from a shop that is registered in our ShopConnect platform.

  3. We've updated our Privacy Agreement

    February 20, 2026

    We’ve updated MyRide901’s Privacy Agreement to reflect recent changes to our features and to ensure transparency in how we handle your personal information.

    Key updates include:

    • Extension of the agreement to cover our integrated service, ShopConnect, that connects vehicle owners with auto repair shops
    • New sections added:
      • Overview of Services
      • Your Rights and Choices
    • Additional clarity and scope in the following sections:
      • What We Collect
      • How We Use It 

    For all new MyRide901 and ShopConnect users, these changes are effective immediately. As an existing MyRide901 user, the updated agreement takes effect on March 22, 2026. Your continued use of MyRide901 after March 22, 2026, indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

  4. MyRide901 Release - January, 2026

    February 16, 2026

    Today’s release lets you book service appointments with participating repair shops directly from MyRide901. When you book, recommended manufacturer service—and optionally your service history—is shared with the shop. Once confirmed, a reminder is automatically added.

  5. MyRide901 Release - December, 2025

    January 31, 2026

    Today’s release includes an enhancement to Receipt Scanning to capture Date and Mileage data from service receipts in addition to Parts, Labor and Price details. Also, we’ve updated the calendar on the Service Events screen to allow service events beyond 2025.

  6. August 3 Update: Timeline Display Issue Resolved

    We’re happy to announce that the timeline display bug introduced in the August 2 update has been fixed. Please update your MyRide901 app to the latest version to get the corrected Timeline experience. Thanks again for your patience and support.

  7. August 2 Update: Timeline Display Issue

    Heads Up: Timeline Display Issue in Latest MyRide901 Update

    Earlier today, we released an update to MyRide901 (August 2, 2025). Following the update, some users have reported a display issue affecting the Timeline view:

    • When the app is first opened, service events may not appear on the timeline.

    • The events will reappear if you switch to another screen (e.g. Vehicles) and then return to the Home screen.

    • The issue returns each time the app is fully closed and reopened.

    Temporary Workaround: Until we release a fix, simply toggle to another tab (like Vehicles) and return to the Home screen to refresh the Timeline view.

    We’re actively working on a permanent solution and will keep you posted. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

  8. Important Update: Premium Features Coming to MyRide901

    We want to let you know about some important updates coming to MyRide901.

    As noted in our last newsletter, to continue improving MyRide901 and supporting its growth in an ad-free environment, we are moving to a freemium model. Starting February 24, 2025, some MyRide901 advanced features will require a Premium subscription for a small fee.  Core features will remain free, and you’ll still be able to track maintenance and keep your service timeline intact.

    Premium Features (available with subscription):

    • Mileage Expense Tracking

    • Vehicle History Download

    • Service Receipt Scanning

    • Accident Reporting

    • Safety Recall Look-Up 

    • Next Service Look-Up

    Subscription Options:

    • Yearly: USD$29.99/year

    • Monthly: USD$3.99/month

    Why We’re Making These Changes: We’ve made this decision to ensure we can continue to improve MyRide901, add new features, and provide ongoing support for our app. Your subscription will directly help us maintain and expand the app while keeping the core features free for everyone to use ad-free.

    What Does This Mean for You?

    • Current Data Access: You’ll still have access to all the data you’ve already generated (like mileage and service receipts), and your previous information will remain available.

    • Premium Features Access: Starting February 24, 2025, you will need a subscription to use Premium features.

  9. MyRide901 Release - February, 2025

    • Today’s release includes a Search field on the Home screen that filters Service Events based on words you enter. Also, the Cost Summary now updates to reflect the Service Events being displayed. Date format is now customizable as well.     Today’s release includes a Filtering Reset button on the Home screen that clears filtering so you can resume viewing your entire service timeline.     Apart from a bug fix for an issue where a vehicle’s mileage unit preference was not reflected in the mileage tracker, today’s release includes significant updates to our code to make it faster and more supportable.     • Today’s release includes a Find A Shop feature that will help you find repair shops nearby. We’ve also added a Service Receipt scanner that scans and enters receipt details for you.     • Today’s release fixes a bug that prevented scrolling when viewing Service Events. Also, we have made the Add Reminder button (“+”) in the top right corner of the Reminders page more visible.
